Margaret Bodle, the heart and soul behind Five Chance Photography, embarked on her journey in 2020 following a tragic loss that forever changed her perspective. Devastated by the sudden departure of two beloved horses to a lightning strike, Margaret discovered solace and inspiration in an unexpected place—the emergence of a five-leaf clover from their final resting place.

Her passion for horses ignited at a young age, defying physical challenges from birth. At just 11 years old, Margaret embraced her first riding lesson, navigating the obstacles of her disability with unwavering determination. Despite the hurdles, she refused to let anything deter her from pursuing her greatest passion.

   Gifted a spirited two-year-old roan Clydesdale, Margaret embarked on a journey of growth and learning, only to find herself facing unforeseen challenges. Recognizing her limitations, Margaret's mother assumed ownership and training of the Clydesdale, forging an unbreakable bond.

    In the gentle giant of a Clydesdale, Margaret found not only a loyal companion but a profound teacher. His towering stature belied a gentle spirit, embodying the essence of patience and understanding. Together, they navigated the intricacies of trust and partnership, leaving an indelible mark on Margaret's journey.
 
     The loss of their beloved Clydesdale sparked a realization of the fleeting nature of memories captured in photographs. Drawing from her background in graphic design and fueled by a newfound passion for photography, Margaret embarked on a mission to preserve the cherished moments shared between horses and their human counterparts.

 

     Driven by empathy and a deep understanding of the equestrian world, Margaret honed her skills through relentless dedication and continued education. Armed with a growing knowledge of breed standards and a keen eye for detail, she made it her mission to honor the legacy of beloved equine companions through the lens of Five Chance Photography.

Today, Margaret finds herself immersed in a new chapter, training a 4-year-old Mustang from Devils Garden. Despite skepticism from others, Margaret's unwavering belief in the Mustang's potential speaks volumes about her resilience and determination.Through Five Chance Photography, Margaret honors the memory of her beloved horses and seeks to help others immortalize the special moments shared with their equine companions. For Margaret, the five-leaf clover serves as a poignant reminder that even amidst tragedy, hope and opportunity abound.
